In reviewing the stats for the 2015 Chevy Spark 1LT and 2LT, there were quite a few impressive finds. We would, however, like to establish upfront that this vehicle is only available to California and Oregon residents in limited dealerships. No doubt though, used versions of the Chevy Spark will begin circulating shortly.
The 2015 Chevy Spark EV is a very compact vehicle, geared toward city driving. Though it is small, it comes in a 4 door package and boasts unusually large space for a vehicle in its class. The Spark also comes with many safety features, including 10 airbags and OnStar capability.
There have been a few comparisons made between the Chevy Spark and the Mini Cooper, with the Spark coming out on top with regard to ease in parallel parking. The Spark also claims impressive handling capabilities, achieved in part by the traction control.
The range on this Chevy EV is 82mi and it can reach a full charge within 7 hours on a standard 240v charger. With a DC charger, the Spark can charge to 80% capacity within 20 minutes. The overall MPGe is quite impressive at 119 overall. Within the city, the Chevy Spark reaches a 128 MPGe rating!
How much get up and go does this small impressively energy efficient EV have? The 2015 Chevy Spark comes with 140hp, goes 0-60 in 7.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 90mph.
