Japan Debuts the 2020 Aspark Owl EV at $3.2 million
What could possibly make the 2020 Aspark Owl EV hypercar worth the 3.2 million dollar price tag? Maybe it’s the mind blowing 1,985hp? Or perhaps the fact that it goes 0 – 60mph in 1.69 seconds, to 186mph in 10.6 seconds and tops out at 250mph? Yes, this car is more than just innovative, its revolutionary.
In a world where Tesla rules the field, the Aspark Owl shifts the attention to a newer, more vulnerable, but highly promising auto maker – Apark Co. Though the Aspark Owl was first introduced in 2017 – and appeared to be a solid concept car at that time – the progress between 2017 and 2019 is astounding. According to Aspark Co. “The Owl has almost three times more power than Formula-E cars and two times more than Formula 1 cars.” The progress made is due, in part, to a collaboration with Italy’s Manifattura Automobili Torino.
