The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona SRT is an 800-volt system (think Porsche Taycan or Audi e-Tron GT for comparison). Dodge promises it out-performs their V-8 cars in all key areas and is even faster than a Hellcat! And what about sound? This is a deal-breaker for many, as Dodge and Ford are well aware. The Charger EV, like the Electric Mustang, generates a loud exhaust sound that mimics the beloved muscle cars. Both also chose to include a multi-speed transmission, giving the driver that classic feel and more direct control over acceleration. There will also be a temporary horsepower boost button, ensuring a fun ride!
