As anticipated, Ferrari meets and exceeds expectations of efficiency, grandeur and exclusivity. But how energy efficient is it?

The electric generator, which turns off when coasting or braking, works with the regenerative brakes to decrease fuel consumption by 40 percent.

How fast is it?

According to Ferrari the LaFerrari has lapped its Fiorano Test Circuit in less than 1 minute and 20 seconds, which is the fastest road-legal car that Ferrari has ever produced. The car has a top speed of about 217mph and is capable of reaching 60mph in under three seconds.

The internal combustion engine V12 has a 6.3 litre capacity. Its KERS system adds extra power to the combustion engine’s output level for a total of 963 PS. The total torque generated by the V12 ICE together with the electric motor totals to more than 664lb ft of torque. The compression ratio is 13.5:1. The engine is connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and the car is rear-wheel drive. The gear levers are conveniently fixed to the steering wheel.

There is also a track version of the LaFerrari called the Ferrari FXX-K. The price for this version starts at nearly 4 million USD.
