2020 Porsche Taycan EV

Porsche has officially joined the EV revolution with their new 2020 Porsche Taycan all electric sports car. Though Porsche has long been tinkering with electrics and building electric mode vehicles, like the Panamera and Cayenne, the Taycan is their first all electric endeavor. You may ask yourself: What ever happened to the concept car Mission E? This is it. After teasing the Mission E at various auto shows in recent years, Porsche rebranded it as the Taycan and began production. Let’s check out some stats!

A Porsche Taycan Hennessey Edition?

Hennessey has taken note of the Taycan and they’re excitedly exploring the possibilities. Apparently, they have been wanting to modify an EV for quite some time. Hennessey says: “We felt that the new Porsche Taycan was the right platform from which to modify our first EV…We will see what might be possible in terms of adding more power.”

Stay tuned to see what the future holds for Hennessey and the Taycan. In the meantime, here is a promotional video from Porsche highlighting the look and feel of the new EV. You’ll notice there are some similarities to the design of the Tesla Model S.
