The Faraday Future FF91 Debuts At CES
The Faraday Future FF91 debuted at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The FF91, “nine one”, is a supercar luxury sedan built upon a variable platform. Variable Platform Architecture allows Faraday to design several prototypes with ease, using the same platform, but modifying the models. Faraday expects this advantage will help them produce vehicles quickly and efficiently. They’re planning to compete effectively with Tesla, as well as any new electric car companies that may arrive shortly.
FF91 Stats
The FF91 comes with 1050HP and can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 2.39 seconds. This acceleration speed is slightly faster than the current Tesla Model S P100. The vehicle’s range is up to 378mi per charge. Faraday is putting the finishing touches on their autonomous technology. The car is expected to have facial recognition (which automatically adjusts your seat and mirrors), true keyless entry, zero gravity seats and the highly anticipated Driverless Valet Parking Feature. Drop yourself off at the door and have your car park itself. Seem like a dream? Faraday thinks they’ve got it all figured out. Its a hot selling point on the vehicle. No more driving endlessly down each parking row looking for an empty space. The vehicle will alert you of its location once its finished parking.

FF is now accepting reservations for the FF91 at ff.com. A fully refundable $5,000 deposit is required. The first 300 orders will be given the option to upgrade in March in order to be part of the Alliance Edition. How much will this new creation cost? Though Faraday has yet to put a number on it, estimates put it between $150,000 and $200,000.
