The Italdesign GTZero

The Italdesign GTZero concept car debuted at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show. The GTZero mimics ItalDesign cars of the 1960’s, while incorporating cutting edge electric vehicle technology.

The GTZero is powered by three electric motors. Two of the motors are on the front axle and the remaining motor is on the rear. This enables the car to deliver four-wheel drive and four wheel steering. Italdesign has estimated the engine output to be about 440HP, with a top speed of 155mph. It has a range of 310mi and the batteries can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes.

Its clear that Italdesign is creating a high performance electric car practical for everyday use. Although it is high performance, comparisons to a Ford Mustang or Camaro would be a better fit than a comparison to LaFerrari. Like a Mustang or Camaro, this vehicle will also seat four comfortably.
