Nissan and BMW Partner to Provide Convenient Charging

A Nissan and BMW Partnership

In an effort to help their customers as well as compete with Tesla, Nissan and BMW have partnered to provide convenient charging stations. These new charging stations can charge to 80% within 20-30 minutes.

So far they have implemented around 120 fast charging stations across the United States. Some of the states that have benefitted from this endeavor include: California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The new charging stations can be located using the vehicles navigation system, as well as the smartphone apps BMW i Remote and Nissan EZ-Charge.

Nissan reports that there are 10,000 Nissan LEAF compatible charging stations around the world and their app Plugshare helps you locate 9,000 more stations that can be used in a pinch.
